Meet the Attorney

Mario J. Moore Ramirez is the founder and owner of Moore Ramirez Law Firm, LLC.  Mario was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and lived there until he moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, C.A. during his childhood where he was raised and went to law school. He graduated under foreign Civil Jurisprudence law and is currently an active Honduran bar member.

Mario relocated to Kansas City, MO, and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, (UMKC) where he received his Master in Laws and Juris Doctorate under Common Law, and is a current Missouri Bar member.

 

At the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Mario accomplished various leadership positions such as:

1. Co Founder and President of “University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Legal Interpretation Society.”

2. President of the Hispanic Law Students Association.

3. Vice President of the International Law Society.

4. Intern for the Honorable U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Sarah W. Hays.

 

Mario is fluent in English and Spanish, he has traveled to diverse continents and unique countries, which has been of great personal value, making him amenable to different cultural backgrounds and giving him a more personal perspective when dealing with clients of different cultures, and facilitating communication with prospective clients. He has worked in both the private and public sector where he used this advantage working with individuals from different social classes and communicating and conveying legal information with no impediment or difficulty, making the process smooth and pleasant for the client and making him uniquely qualified to represent clients from diverse backgrounds and assure that their conversations and goals are all fully understood and taken into consideration.

 

Mario is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Honduras Bar Association, along with several other professional memberships, and he is devoted to fight to make the American Dream a reality for everyone.

 

It was his personal life experience, living in a country where poverty and corruption govern, that made him understand why individuals leave their home country, and by doing this, leaving behind their friends, their families, and their life. This immigration experience cultivated a true appreciation and compassion for all individuals seeking United States citizenship. Mario J. Moore Ramirez understands the complexities associated with immigration procedures, and he will apply his knowledge and background to competently assist those who wish to build a life in this country.

 

He is committed to representing his clients, pursuing possible forms of deportation defenses and relief available to enable his client to remain and continue to build a life in the United States.
