Mario J. Moore Ramirez is our founder and owner of Moore Ramirez Law Firm, LLC, serving the Greater Kansas City area since 2014. Mario is a current Missouri Bar member, Kansas Bar member, Florida Bar member and Honduran Bar member. Additionally, he is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and several other professional organizations.

Mario was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, living there until he moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Central America during his childhood, where he was raised and attended law school. He graduated of foreign Civil Jurisprudence law and is currently an active Honduran Bar member. In adulthood, Mario relocated to Kansas City, Missouri where he attended University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law and earned his Masters in Law and Juris Doctorate of Common Law. During his studies at UMKC School of Law, Mario was an Intern for the Honorable U.S. Chief Magistrate, Judge Sarah W. Hays, and also contributed his time and knowledge to various leadership positions, including the following:

• Co-Founder and President of University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Legal Interpretation Society

• President of the Hispanic Law Students Association

• Vice President of the International Law Society

Mario is fluent in English and Spanish, having lived and earned law degrees in both Central America and the United States. His lived and learned experiences–including travel to diverse continents and unique countries–make him amenable to different cultural backgrounds, allowing him to provide a personalized perspective when working with clients of diverse cultures. 

Throughout his career, Mario has worked in both the private and public sectors with individuals of varying backgrounds, where he refined his adaptability in communicating and conveying legal information in an accessible manner. With his multitude and variation of professional and lived experiences, Mario is uniquely qualified to represent clients of diverse backgrounds, with his priority to create an easeful and pleasant process where clients’ conversations and goals are fully understood and taken into consideration. Overall, Mario is committed to representing his clients, pursuing possible forms of legal relief and defense available, as he is devoted to fight to make the American Dream a reality for everyone.
